Scale models and computer animation will be prepared to help potential buyers appreciate the unique design of this building, in which most of the suites will have both the north-facing lakeview terraces and the south-facing balconies.

Creative Design
A unique and valuable site such as this beautifully-located property on Stratford's Lake Victoria demands a creative and thoughtful design!
The Guthrie LOFTS architectural team is headed by Daniel Schumacher, who grew up in Stratford and honed his skills in Vancouver, where maximization of views and full utilization of available space are absolutely essential for a successful building project.  Happily resettled in his home region, he is keen to create a design that meets modern needs while also being fully sensitive to its community setting.
The typical suite will have an impressive foyer with a 15-foot ceiling, while the main living area -- including a well-appointed kitchen -- will be delightfully airy with an 11-foot ceiling and large windows facing the lake.  A spacious lakeside terrace is a standard feature.

The Guthrie LOFTS are on the south bank of the Avon River (Lake Victoria), so the terraces will be appropriately shaded during the heat of summer.   The design of this building is so creative that most suites will also have balconies off the luxurious master suites that will be located on the sunny side of the building -- adding to the residents' year-round
comfort.
An attractive feature for a significant number of the suites will be direct private entries from the parking garage - and these superior residences will also have oversize riverfront terraces that are ideal for entertaining.
Every aspect of The Guthrie LOFTS project will meet or exceed today's high environmental standards.  For example, heating and air-conditioning systems will capture the energy in the ground, allowing residents to be completely comfortable in any season while using the minimum amount of electricity.  The site is being designed with the maximum possible greenspace, plus floral gardens to complement the beautiful environment of the City of Stratford.

Design sketches and floor plans will be released soon.  Final discussions are in progress with city authorities, and the engineering is being fine-tuned.  The project is being planned so that construction will be completed expeditiously.
